BRANZ : Artisan
Project background
BRANZ is a New Zealand-based organisation operating in the building industry. They had created an app called Artisan that needed a website to let people know the benefits of using the app on their building sites.

User interface and interaction design
The project came with an established brand identity that I wanted to pay tribute to with the design to ensure maximum recognition for the product. The logo was featured prominently on the landing page for the site.
The interaction design was purposeful and allowed me to inject moments of joy into the website for the user. Each interaction was a nod to the building industry, whether it was emulating the movement of a turning screw or a tape measure. Elements from the app interface were also adapted and incorporated into the UI to create consistency for users across products.
The interaction design included many little hints towards the building industry, such as the turning phillips screw head on our accordion.

Solution and delivery
The project was designed for content blocks and therefore developed using Silverstripe CMS with the Elemental module. The blocks ensured pages could be created in a flexible way to promote key features of the product.
Alongside the lead developer on the project, I project managed delivery for the client, BRANZ, ensuring that their requirements were being met through design and development.
